Repsol Honda Team's Stefan Bradl will be the first man to ride a MotoGP™ bike in 2021 when he slings his leg over his RC213V in Jerez on Wednesday. The German will use up some of the Japanese factory's allocated test days at a WorldSBK private test at the Andalucian circuit, but won't be the only MotoGP™ rider present. Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP's Maverick Viñales and Pramac Racing's Johann Zarco will both be riding on road bikes, as will Ducati's test rider Michele Pirro.

This comes after MotoGP™ rookie Jorge Martin donned the colours of Pramac Racing for the first time last week at the Circuito de Cartagena in South-East Spain. The former Moto3™ World Champion was joined on track by fellow MotoGP™ rider, Red Bull KTM Tech3's Iker Lecuona, who was riding BMW machinery unlike Martin on his brand-new Ducati Panigale V4.
Moto2™ stars Aron Canet (Aspar Team), Tony Arbolino (Liqui Moly Intact GP), Yari Montella (Speed Up Racing) and Raul Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo), plus Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3™ teammates Jaume Masia and Pedro Acosta and lightweight class rookie Adrian Fernandez (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) were also all present at Cartagena.
The vast majority of the riders will now head to Almeria for a further two days of track action before then all eyes and attention switches to the Circuit de Jerez - Angel Nieto as MotoGP™ machinery breaks cover for the first time in 2021.
