MotoGP™ Warm Up: Zarco leads Yamaha trio

The Doha front row starter was less than a tenth clear of Quartararo in the 20-minute premier class session

Topping the Sunday afternoon timesheets ahead of Round 2 at the Tissot Grand Prix of Doha was Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing), thanks to a 1:54.482 in Warm Up. The front row starter was 0.094s ahead of second fastest Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) with World Championship leader Maverick Viñales making it two Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP bikes in the top three.

 

Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) lines up in P10 on the grid but enjoyed a successful Warm Up session in P4, with polesitter and rookie wonder Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing) completing the fastest five runners in the pre-race 20-minute outing.
