Quartararo quickest in attritional FP4

The Frenchman was impressive in Portimao, finishing well ahead of Miguel Oliveira and Johann Zarco

Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) ended the final Free Practice session top of the timesheets thanks to a 1:39.788. El Diablo had over two tenths to spare on Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) as he continued his impressive early season form.

Championship leader Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing) was third quickest, ensuring that two Frenchmen are in the top 3 times at FP4 at Portuguese GP.

Marc Marquez continued to play fast and loose with his front end with the HRC man saving it on the dropdown into turn 14, but no such luck for his Repsol Honda teammate Pol Espargaro, as he suffered a huge highside at turn 15. Luca Marini (SKY VR46 Avintia) also hit the deck towards the end of the session at turn 9, fortunately, both riders are ok.

The battle for pole gets underway next, with Q1 just moments away.
