Polesitter Bagnaia fastest from Champion Quartararo

It’s a familiar duo at the top ahead of the penultimate race of the season, KTM’s Lecuona bags P3

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) will be searching for his third victory of the season when he launches from his fifth pole position in a row at the Grande Prémio Brembo do Algarve, and the Italian topped Warm Up with a 1:39.711. World Champion Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) was second, 0.111s off Pecco, with Iker Lecuona (Tech3 KTM Factory Racing) having another strong session to finish P3.

2020 World Champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) will start from just his second-ever MotoGP™ front row today, the Spaniard claimed P4 in Warm Up, just ahead of fifth place Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu).

The title may have been decided, but there’s still plenty to play for in Portimao. Tune into the MotoGP™ race at the slightly earlier time of 13:00 local time (GMT+0) to see who comes out on top!
