Pedrosa ready for two-day Brno test with KTM

Three-time World Champion will be joined by Suzuki’s Guintoli in the Czech Republic as he and KTM begin testing together

We’ve been patiently waiting but the moment has finally arrived: three-time Grand Prix World Champion Dani Pedrosa will start to properly test KTM’s RC16 this week in Brno.

The MotoGP™ Legend spun a few laps on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine earlier this year at Mugello to test his physical condition after undergoing stem cell surgery on his right collarbone. And with those few laps being successful, as was confirmed in May, Pedrosa will begin testing the RC16 in June. More specifically, on the 5th and 6th June in Brno.

2019 has been positive for the Austrian factory so far, with Pol Espargaro picking up their best dry result to date – a superb P6 in Le Mans. Three other top tens for the Spaniard in Argentina, America and most recently in Italy confirm progress is being made, as we and KTM now eagerly await the feedback from the vastly experienced Pedrosa.

Team Suzuki Ecstar test rider Sylvain Guintoli will also be present in Brno as the Frenchman puts in the mileage alongside Pedrosa, with Guintoli prepping for his first wildcard appearance of the season at the Catalan GP.
