Qatar Airways becomes Official Airline Partner and Official Cargo Airline Partner of MotoGP™

The world’s most exciting sport announces a new global partnership with Qatar Airways – the record 7-time winner of the prestigious ‘Skytrax World’s Best Airline’ award

Across five continents and more than 20 Grands Prix, the world’s most exciting sport traverses the globe year on year. Now, MotoGP™ will do so in partnership with Qatar Airways and Qatar Airways Cargo, joining the airline’s portfolio of premium sports partnerships. With nearly 170 destinations in its network, Qatar Airways’ seamless connectivity in various destinations across the world will be of great benefit to MotoGP™, the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.

This new multi-year partnership will see Qatar Airways provide passenger and cargo services for MotoGP™, including commercial tickets, charter flights for championship personnel and freight services supplied by Qatar Airways Cargo. In line with MotoGP™’s focus on efficiency within the calendar, this collaboration enables the sport to move more sustainably across the world, including the implementation of new and reduced freight boxes.

This agreement will also put the Qatar Airways name trackside at a number of venues on the calendar, including this weekend at Le Mans. The airline will then take top billing at one of the sport’s blue riband events with title sponsorship of the Qatar Airways Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix later this season, adding to their title sponsorship of their home Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar in 2023 and 2024.

Further companies within the Qatar Airways group, including Qatar Duty free and the airline’s hub; Hamad International Airport in Doha, are also party to the agreement.
