TICKET PURCHASE POLICY

The sale of tickets in this section of the website is operated by INTERNATIONAL EVENTS SERVICES, S.L.U. (henceforth referred to as “IES”). By using this ticketing section, you expressly agree and accept to be bound by this Policy and by the general Terms and Conditions of the Website, without limits or reservations. It is hereby expressly agreed that if you violate this Policy or the Terms and Conditions, your use of the Website may be terminated and we may bar you from any future use of the Website, cancel your ticket order and/or take appropriate legal actions against you.

This Ticket Purchase Policy incorporates Terms and Conditions of Sale. We or us are the entity selling the tickets, IES, and you are the person buying the ticket.

  1. All tickets are offered subject to availability and to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions should be read carefully prior to confirming your order and any queries relating to them should be raised with us prior to purchase, as confirming your order constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Price and Payment. The price of the ticket(s) shall be the price set at the time we accept your order. Prices are inclusive of VAT only in any European Event. The tickets for a given European Event will incorporate the corresponding VAT of such European country as the right to entry is a service clearly provided there. If we discover an error in the price of tickets that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price (and credit or debit your account as applicable) or cancelling your order and receiving a full refund from us. In any case, if we are unable to contact you at any time before the tickets are delivered, you agree that we may treat the order as cancelled. It is your responsibility to inform us of any change to the contact address or e-mail to the ones provided to us. Please bear in mind that the price printed on the tickets may not correspond to the amount you paid for the ticket(s). Usually the base price when IES acquired those tickets should appear printed in. The amount that you pay may reflect the price at the time of your purchase in our website.
  3. Delivery of tickets. The physical tickets can either be delivered at the appropriate venue at the Exchange Ticket Office of the circuit where the Event takes place, or have they delivered by courier to the place of your choice. For certain Events, you may either only be able of, or also have the option of, purchasing electronic tickets from the Website (hereinafter, “e-tickets”). The former way of delivery takes place by exchanging the Voucher in the Exchange Ticket Office the days of the Event. The courier option (only when available) has a surcharge to cover the delivery costs, and entitles different liability plus an advanced purchasing time for safe delivery.
  4. Voucher. Once the payment process has been initially successful you will receive a Voucher electronically to be redeemed personally for the proper tickets at the Exchange Ticket Office. If you have chosen the option to have the tickets sent to you or you have purchased e-tickets from the Website, no Voucher is generated. Any new Voucher or notice will be sent to you when a change occurs either with the sale or with certain data provided by you. You can change electronically the name and data of the person collecting the tickets within a certain time limit, established in the instructions that appear during the buying process. To change data, follow the instructions that appear in your profile or during the buying process. Once a Voucher is issued, you are not allowed to claim for any change, refund or compensation other that as stated in the issuing instructions, if any.
  5. Redemption and exchange of Voucher for the proper tickets. THE VOUCHER IS NOT YOUR MOTOGP™ TICKET. You have to follow the instructions of the Voucher in order to redeem it for the tickets purchased. The Voucher will mention the person entitled to redeem the tickets (as provided by you), and such person is the only one entitled to collect the tickets. The redemption and collection of the tickets take place in the Exchange Ticket Office near to the Circuit where the Event for which you purchased tickets will take place, during the days of the Event (usually the three days of the weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Please check the days of the Event where you are purchasing the tickets. We recommend you reading carefully the Ticket Pick Up Location document, which you may receive attached to your purchase confirmation email, for checking locations and opening hours of the Exchange Ticket Office in relation to the Event.
  6. ID with photograph to redeem the Voucher. The person authorized to collect the tickets should carry to the Exchange Ticket Office the ID that you mentioned in the booking/buying process. Such ID should be a document issued by an official governmental authority, such as valid passport, driving license or national ID card, with the name of the bearer in Latin characters (all passports are written in Latin characters at least). Bear in mind that the photograph of such ID shall be checked by the exchanging officer who shall clearly identify the person collecting the tickets. Any photograph in such ID that cannot identify the bearer, because of poor quality, not enough face recognition or not sufficient resemblance between the photo and the bearer, will allow the exchanging officer to refuse handing the tickets.
  7. Delivery by courier. IES will send you the tickets that you have bought to the place of your choice (following your instructions) where the courier company will deliver the proper tickets. In the buying process it will appear whether such service is available depending on the time before the Event takes place and depending on the country of delivery. Our courier delivers to more than 160 countries in the World. If your country is not within the delivery by courier, the system will either tell you so during the buying process or not allow the courier option. For a safe delivery by courier, we will not accept such option if there are not enough sufficient days between the buying date and the date of the Event. When there are less than 30 days between such two dates, the process may not allow delivery by courier. Once you choose delivery by courier, you will have to provide additional data for proper delivery. If you provide wrong or incomplete data, IES will not be responsible for the delivery. Moreover, if the tickets have not been delivered at the place of your choice, 15 days before the Event takes place, you have to contact IES to claim for such lack of delivery. If IES do not receive your claim sent at least 10 days before the Event takes place, there will be no liability whatsoever to IES for a failed delivery. On the other hand, if you claim to us on the mentioned times, IES will check where was the fault of failed delivery, if any, and when such fault is attributable to IES, an appropriate remedy will be offered to you. Once you bought the ticket(s), you may be able to change the delivery address for a different one within the same country on your profile on motogp.com as long as the option courier is still available for such ticket’s purchase.
  8. E-tickets: Once you have bought your e-tickets through our Website, you shall receive an email confirming the receipt of your order, as well as a receipt of the payment. Please, bear in mind that neither this email nor the receipt are your tickets for accessing the Event for which you have bought your tickets. Your e-tickets shall be available on your profile at motogp.com at least five (5) days before the Event, unless you buy the tickets within the same week in which the Event shall take place. A printed copy of those e-tickets shall be need to be shown at the entrance of the circuit. If the e-tickets are not available on your profile within the five (5) days before the start of the Event, you shall immediately contact IES in order to claim the non-availability of your e-tickets at the Website. If IES do not receive your claim, there will be no liability whatsoever to IES for the non-availability of the e-tickets. In the event that you contact us within the mentioned time, IES will check where was the fault of the non-availability of the e-tickets, if any, and when such fault is attributable to IES, an appropriate remedy will be offered to you.
  9. Independently of the date of your purchase, the physical tickets will not be delivered, to you or the person or place nominated by you, or the e-ticket not made available until around three (3) weeks before the corresponding Event takes place, if purchased before such time. Be aware that in some special cases, the delivery can take place one (1) month or before ahead of the Event, but hardly ever more than six (6) months before.
  10. Data to be supplied to buy the tickets/e-tickets. You should supply the real and correct data required for buying and redeeming the e-tickets/tickets or delivering the tickets by courier in order for the process to take place. Such data shall be real and able to be validated if checked. Should IES suspect that some of the data supplied for the purchase or registration is fake, not real or could be or become a fraud, your purchase can be cancelled. When you do not provide all necessary data, the process will not be completed and IES has no obligation to deliver/issue the tickets/e-tickets. Any data provided by you shall be used according to the Terms and Conditions of the Website and to provide you the services agreed. It is your responsibility to inform us of any change to the corresponding address or e-mail to the ones provided to us.
  11. Completion of the buying process to generate the tickets/e-tickets. No ticket/e-tickets will be reserved on your behalf unless the buying process is perfectly completed. Once completed, you should receive electronically a confirmation mail, and when delivered at the Exchange Ticket Office a Voucher to be printed by you. It is your responsibility to check your data provided, and the data appearing in the confirmation mail and Voucher since, if a mistake has been made by us or you have made a mistake, it cannot always be rectified and we accept no liability or responsibility for any failure to so rectify and nor will we accept any liability to reimburse you for any amount paid by you. Accordingly, please check your Voucher, ticket or e-ticket carefully on receipt and contact us immediately if there is a mistake.
  12. Limits and procedure for buying tickets/e-tickets. Once started the buying process, you will be informed whether there are tickets/e-tickets available for your queries. There is a limit of tickets/e-tickets that can be purchased in the same buying process. In one given buying process no tickets/e-tickets from different Events, categories or places within the circuit can be processed. The instructions given during the process will state different areas or categories for you to choose when acquiring tickets/e-tickets. Should you be interested in buying tickets/e-tickets for different areas or Events, you should start different buying processes.
  13. Entrance to the Event. A valid ticket/e-ticket per person must be produced to get into the Event. Removing any part of, altering or defacing the ticket or the e-ticket printed in paper may invalidate your ticket/e-ticket and right of use. The tickets collected by you (or the nominated person) in the Exchange Ticket Office or sent by us by courier are valid tickets to get into the Event. It is your responsibility, and of the person authorized to collect the tickets, to check your tickets to ensure that they are correct according to the data stated in the last Voucher received by you or last confirmation mail. We will not be responsible for any Voucher or ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed under your possession. You take possession of and collect the tickets once they are: a) delivered to you in the Exchange Ticket Office; b) delivered by courier to the agreed place; or c) made available to you as e-ticket on your profile at the Website. Once collected, no duplicates will be issued for the same tickets. As for the e-tickets, bear in mind that it is mandatory to bring a paper copy of the e-tickets to the entrance of the circuit, since the barcode will not work on Smartphone devices. It will not be possible to print your e-tickets at the circuit. Each e-ticket is a valid and legitimate ticket that can only be used by one (1) person. If any copies are made of the e-ticket, only the first scan of the barcode shall allow the entry to the Event. You must keep your e-ticket safe and in good condition as a duplicate ticket shall not be issued if it is lost or stolen.
  14. Changes to Event. The organizer of the Event reserves the right to make alterations to the published Event programme where reasonably necessary.
  15. Refunds/exchanges. Except where we offer, at our absolute discretion, an applicable ticket/e-ticket exchange or re-sale or refund facility, tickets/e-tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the Event is cancelled or rescheduled. Where an Event is cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be entitled to claim a refund from us but only in accordance with this clause. We shall not be liable to make any refund or pay any compensation beyond the refunds that may be payable under the circuit promoter’s rules. Where a refund is sought you must bring this to our attention as soon as possible upon becoming aware of such cancellation or rescheduling. The refund of tickets might equal the price of each of the tickets/e-tickets purchased from us, duly justified, less any commission from the Pay Platform, your bank or any third party. In order to claim your refund, if you have any right to it, please apply in writing to us. The refund shall only be made to the person who purchased the tickets/e-ticket and using the same method as was used to purchase the tickets/e-tickets except, at our discretion, when the parties so agree. Once the tickets/e-tickets are collected, no refund is possible.
  16. Liability. Personal arrangement including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by you, are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an Event, or for material changes to an Event, will be limited to the refund as set forth above. Neither we nor the circuit’s promoter will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of our proven negligence or that of the circuit’s promoter or other breach of statutory duty. Regardless of where you purchased your tickets, bear in mind that IES for these purchases acts only as ticket agent, and accordingly, IES shall never be liable for any actions and/or conflicts taking place at the circuit during the Event, which is regulated by the circuit in any case.
  17. Cancelled or re-scheduled Events. It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the date and time of any re-scheduled Event. Where an Event is cancelled or re-scheduled, we will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided us with, at the time of ordering or later changed in your profile. We do not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event. Remember that it is your responsibility to inform us of any change to the contact address or e-mail.
  18. Void Vouchers. Any Voucher or ticket/e-ticket obtained in breach of this Purchase Policy or the Terms and Conditions shall be void and all, rights conferred or evidence by such ticket/e-ticket or Voucher, shall be void. Any person seeking to use such a void Voucher or ticket/e-ticket in order to gain or provide entry to an Event may be liable to legal action and, if already gained entry, considered to be a trespasser and may be liable to be ejected. Void tickets/e-tickets and Vouchers are non-refundable.
  19. By attending an Event, ticket/e-ticket holders expressly consent to filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. The ticket/e-ticket holder expressly licenses any image right for the following purpose. Dorna Sports may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment in any way, even for commercial purposes.
  20. Conditions of Admission. The management of the Event reserves the right to refuse ticket/e-ticket holder admission to the venue in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a ticket/e-ticket is void. You must comply with instructions and directions given by the Event staff and stewards. No refunds will be given to ticket/e-ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples below. The management of the Event reserves the right to request that ticket/e-ticket holders leave the venue at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example the management of the Event may remove a ticket/e-ticket holder who:
    1. Has behaved in the venue in a manner which, in the reasonable opinion of the Venue has affected, or is likely to affect, the enjoyment of other visitors; or
    2. uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or
    3. in the reasonable opinion of the management of the Event is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; or
    4. smokes in a forbidden area; or
    5. fails, when required, to produce proof of identity or age; or
    6. uses equipment which in the management of the Event’s opinion could constitute a nuisance to the rest of the audience.
  21. Restrictions and prohibitions. The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio or audio-visual material or any information or data inside any circuit venue is strictly forbidden. Unauthorised recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed. Any recording made of an Event in breach of these conditions shall belong to Dorna Sports. The promoter and Dorna Sports will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items. Ticket/e-ticket holders shall not bring into the Venue or display or distribute (whether for free or not) at the Event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing material's. Alcohol may only be consumed in public bars and other authorized areas. Smoking is only permitted when, and if so where, the circuit so allows. The following may not permitted within any circuit venue:
    1. animals (with sometimes the exception of guided dogs);
    2. laser pens;
    3. your own food and drink (unless permitted by the circuit venue);
    4. bottles, cans or glass containers (unless permitted by the circuit venue);
    5. any item which may be interpreted as real or potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives); and
    6. illegal substances.
    The manager of the circuit reserves the right to conduct security searches from time to time and confiscate any item which, in the reasonable opinion of the management, may cause danger, annoyance, aggravation or disruption to other members of the audience or the Event or is one of the items not permitted in the circuit venue as listed above. Ticket/e-ticket holders may only leave and re-enter the circuit venue during the same day of an Event at the discretion of the management of the circuit. Otherwise, there will be no re-admission or pass-outs of any kind. The obstruction of gangways, access-ways, exits, entrances or staircases, congregating in non-designated areas or seeking entry to stands or areas for which you do not hold a ticket/e-ticket is strictly forbidden.
  22. Health and Safety. Ticket/e-ticket holders must comply with all relevant statues, safety announcements and circuit regulations whilst attending the Event. Any actions and/or conflicts taking place at the circuit during the Event, is regulated or solved by the manager of the circuit in any case.
