The Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider was training to be in the best condition possible for the next round of the Moto3™ World Championship in Assen, out to add to his first victory achieved in Barcelona. On Saturday he was running at KSB Karting and was unable to save a fall, resulting in a fracture to the tibia and fibula of his left leg. Currently second in the championship, Navarro will undergo surgery on Monday under the guidance of Dr. Mir and Dr. Ginebreda at the Hospital Universitari Quirón Dexeus de Barcelona.
His return to action is yet unknown.
