Pedrosa: “I always have a good feeling in Brno”

Repsol Honda rider looks ahead to the Czech GP

After a crash in FP1 at the Austrian GP, Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) made some big improvements throughout the weekend at the Red Bull Ring, crossing the line in P7 on Sunday. Brno is more familiar turf, with Pedrosa counting on an enviable record at the track – 2 victories in the last four years, a P2 in 2013 and a comeback to P4 in 2015 after riding through the pain barrier following a big crash on Friday that almost ruled him out.

"Brno is a track that I’ve liked since I started racing."

Dani Pedrosa: “In this second part of the season, we should find some more suitable tracks for us. Of course Brno has some long straights that can be demanding for us, but it’s a track that I’ve liked since I started racing, and I always have a good feeling there. It’s very wide, with some very fast corners, and you must be able to hit the best lines to set good lap times, as it doesn’t forgive the smallest mistake. I just hope that the weather is stable so we can use all the practice time and try to build up some more confidence and speed.”
