CarXpert Interwetten rider Dominique Aegerter has suffered a crash whilst training motocross on Friday. The rider from Bern went to hospital directly after the incident, where he has initially been diagnosed with two torn ligaments and one small fracture. The Swiss race winner is not expected to need surgery, but his participation in the Octo British Grand Prix is in doubt ahead of the event.
Fred Corminboeuf, Team Principal: "Domi went directly to hospital. An X-Ray seems to show two torn ligaments in his shoulder and a small fracture in a small bone on the upper part of the body. He is also feeling pain in one side of his body. An operation will not be necessary, however, I fear that he will not be able to race in ten days in Silverstone, the next Grand Prix."
