Pedrosa: "We've been struggling a bit with grip!"

Confidence higher, grip worse and feet on the ground as Misano winner tops the timesheets on Friday

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) was P11 by the end of first practice at MotorLand Aragon, but the 'Baby Samurai' slashed his time in FP2 to top the session and the day - taking more than a second and a half off his morning's quickest effort despite struggling with grip in the uncharacteristically cooler temperatures at MotorLand. Fresh from his first win of the season in Misano, Pedrosa is keeping his feet on the ground and his focus squarely forward as he readies himself for the first big test of the Aragon GP - qualifying.

Dani Pedrosa (P1): "Well today in the morning it wasn't too good, but in the afternoon was a little bit better. But we've been struggling a bit with grip, maybe the weather isn't as sunny as I expected, and the tyres are quite hard. So the feeling with the tyre wasn't ideal - but we'll try to work on that tomorrow and find some more grip. But overall I think we just have to stay focused for tomorrow morning."
