Romano Fenati (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers) got 2017 off to a good start at the recent private Valencia tests for Moto2™ and Moto3™, setting the fourth fastest time and putting in a good consistent number of fast laps before the end of Day 2 - after Day 1 saw little action for the lightweight class due to high winds. Ending 2016 in the top ten in the standings despite not racing after parting ways with his previous team before the end of the season, Fenati’s aim for 2017 is clear: top three finishes and the title.
Romano Fenati: "It was a positive day! Unfortunately we couldn't turn a do yesterday because it was very windy and conditions were prohibitive. We preferred to avoid risks and preserve the bike and energy for today - and it was the right solution. We worked well for the whole day and now we just have to improve. We will continue the work at Jerez in the next test sessions".
