Bastianini and Canet reveal title challenger in 2017

2016 contender reveals new EG0,0 machine in Madrid alongside teammate Aron Canet

Enea Bastinanini makes the switch to Estrella Galicia 0,0 for 2017, after fighting for the Moto3™ World Championship last season. Joining sophomore Moto3™ rider Aron Canet in the team, the “Beast” Bastianini hopes to make another charge to the front this season.

Canet will be looking to make more progress as he settles into life on the world stage, with a good rookie season seeing the Spaniard take a debut podium and pole position in 2016, and the bar set higher this season.

The two riders presented their project alongside the Moto2™ and MotoGP™ teams in Madrid, revealing the livery for their 2017 Hondas.

Enea Bastianini: “I've never been part of a presentation like this since I joined the Moto3™ World Championship and it's very exciting. I hope I can give all the Spanish fans some good feelings. Every day I feel more comfortable and I have a better feeling with all the people who work in the team - I'm very happy because we're doing great work. My dream since I was young has been to be World Champion. Last year I was second, so this year the goal is to go one better."

Aron Canet: “For another year I'm very motivated to once again form part of the Estrella Galicia 0,0 family. I want to thank everyone for the amazing support we are recieving. Working with the same people as before you got to the World Championship makes you feel like you're surrounded by a big family, even more so in a difficult competitive environment. As a rider of 17 this gives you a lot of confidence. You trust your team with your eyes closed and that makes sure you always give 100%. This year I'd like to be in the lead group in all the races. If we manage that we will have made a big step forward in terms of maturity."
