Lowes happy to be back on track

After a tough opening to his MotoGP™ career in the difficult conditions and weather of the #QatarGP, Aprilia Racing Team Gresini rookie Sam Lowes is looking forward to getting back at it in Argentina – and right after teammate Aleix Espargaro confirmed the Noale factory’s potential with a stunning ride to P6.

Finishing the race at Losail despite some problems early on, the Brit was on the podium in Argentina last year and likes the Termas de Rio Hondo track – now Lowes is just hoping for a less interrupted weekend for his second MotoGP™ race.

Sam Lowes: “I am happy to be getting back on the track straight away, especially in Argentina, a circuit that I like and where I was on the podium last year. Qatar was not the début we wanted. The particular conditions certainly did not make my first race an easy one. Next weekend I want to start the right way. As a team we need to take Aleix's good results as a point of reference and continue improving.”
