Moto2™ followed up the French GP with an extra day at Le Mans, joining Moto3™ back on track for a one day Official Test.

Garage Plus Interwetten, CarXpert Interwetten, Kiefer Racing, Dynavolt Intact GP, Tasca Racing Scuderia Moto2, EG 0,0 Marc VDS, Speed Up racing, Pons HP 40, BE-A-VIP and Teluru SAG Team, AGR Team and the Tech 3 Racing squad were back out, with one of the key focuses new tyres from Dunlop: a new front with the same compound but a different construction, as well as a softer rear option. Öhlins also brought a new suspension for the teams to try, with tyres and suspension the focus for EG 0,0 Marc VDS riders Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez. Suspension testing was back-to-back to make a solid comparison for the team currently on a 100% win record in 2017 – with both riders also working on setup.

Tom Lüthi (CarXpert Interwetten) and Jesko Raffin (GaragePlus Interwetten) were also out on track, as well as Speed Up Racing’s Simone Corsi and Axel Bassani. The Speed Up duo tested a new chassis, but remain unsure as to which they will run in Mugello.

Dynavolt Intact GP took part, with Marcel Schrötter and Sandro Cortese concentrating on geometry, with fellow Suter runners Kiefer Racing concentrating on settings for Dominique Aegerter and experience and confidence for new arrival Tarran Mackenzie.

Tech 3 Racing were working on rear traction and trying new front forks on the Mistral 610, with Kalex runners AGR working on their suspension from WP with Yonny Hernandez, as well as geometry.

SAG Team’s Isaac Viñales and Tetsuta Nagashima were testing a new swingarm and working on geometry, with Tasca Racing Scuderia Moto2™ working on settings for rider Xavier Simeon.
