Alvaro Bautista (Pull&Bear Aspar Team) headed teammate Karel Abraham through to Q2, after initial graduates Jonas Folger (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Jack Miller (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) saw laptimes cancelled for exceeding track limits.
Now it's Q2 time as the rest of the grid takes shape, with Folger left in P16 and Miller P14.
