On Thursday 10th and Friday 11th of May, several factory teams will be on track at the Autodromo de Mugello as they take part in a private two-day testing program.

Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) and teammate Maverick Viñales will utilise the two days of testing on the Italian track. The Factory Ducati Team will also be present, with Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo testing the GP18 on Thursday, with test rider Michele Pirro in charge on Friday.

Fresh off the back of his Jerez victory, Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team) will join teammate Dani Pedrosa in Italy, with LCR Honda Castrol rider Cal Crutchlow also in attendance. Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) will also be in Mugello, testing a GP bike there for the first time, with Honda test rider Stefan Bradl also getting a go on the RC213V.

Team Suzuki Ecstar will seek to continue developing the Hamamatsu bike to maintain their impressive start to the year, while the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini bikes will look to find a solution to their recent engine difficulties.

In addition to some of the premier class machines, Moto2™ teams such as EG 0,0 Marc VDS, Italtrans Racing Team and Swiss Innovative Investors will be on track.
