Ana Carrasco once again made history this past weekend, taking victory in the WorldSSP300 race at Imola to become the first woman to lead the standings in an individual motorcycling World Championship. The Spaniard was the first female winner of a solo World Championship race after taking her first win in the class at Portimao in 2017, and took her first pole position at Imola on Saturday before dominating the race at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari to take her second WorldSSP300 win.

After competing in and scoring good points in the Moto3™ World Championship from 2013 to 2015, Carrasco’s switch to the WorldSSP300 series has seen her become a constant frontrunner – and she’s now three points clear at the top.
¡Esta es la mejor sensación del mundo! ¡Gracias equipo! ¡Gracias Imola! Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!❤️
