The Gran Premio Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini is over for another year but for Championship leader Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), the work at Misano wasn’t over just yet as he took part in a one-day private test at the circuit to “see if we can have some items for this last part of the season.”

Alongside the sole Honda representative on track was Aprilia Racing Team Gresini’s Aleix Espargaro and Scott Redding, who continue their work to try and improve the results of the RS-GP between now and the end of the season – both will be back out at Misano for another private test day on Tuesday.
Also on track was Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) as he continues to build up his strength on the RC16 after returning from injury at Misano, with Randy De Puniet getting his first outing as a stand-in test rider for the Austrian factory.
