Changes to the time schedule as MotoE™ arrives at the Ring

Round 9 of the 2019 MotoGP™ season takes us to the HJC Helmets Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland and this year, the Sachsenring plays host to a special weekend. Alongside the rumble and noise of MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™, this weekend we see the inaugural round of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup take place.

So, where will MotoE™ fit into the schedule? Moto3™ (09:00), MotoGP™ (09:55) and Moto2™ (10:55) FP1s on Friday morning will take place at their usual European round times, with the first competitive piece of MotoE™ coming your way at 11:50 local time (GMT+2) on Friday for a 30-minute FP1 session. MotoE™ FP2 ends Friday’s proceedings at 16:50 and remember, Friday’s order will decide the order of Saturday’s very first E-Pole. A report and interviews with the fastest riders will be available on Friday.  

Saturday follows the same time pattern as usual for Moto3™, MotoGP™ and Moto2™ FP3 and qualifying, with the premier class qualifying going green at 14:10 for Q1. After the intermediate class grid has been decided, it’s time for E-Pole at 16:00 – a one flying lap system that will be incredibly exciting.

Then, of course, it’s Sunday. Which means one thing: race day! Moto3™ Warm Up will start proceedings at the slightly earlier time of 08:20 local time, with MotoGP™ getting their final race preparations underway at 09:20 before the MotoE™ riders lineup on the grid for the inaugural race at 10:00. After that, Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ go racing at the same time as normal – 11:00, 12:20 and 14:00 local time.
