Alex Marquez to travel to Brno for Czech GP

The #73 will aim to get back in action this weekend, pending a final medical on Thursday

BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP have confirmed Alex Marquez will travel to Brno this week, intending to compete in the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Czechia. He will undergo his official medical check on Thursday at the track which will determine his final fitness to take part in the race weekend.

The #73 has been sidelined since a high-profile crash on Sunday at the Catalan GP, missing the race weekends in Italy and Hungary to recover.

On Thursday he will now either be passed fit to take part in the Czech GP or given the green light to compete in FP1 pending a further review after the first session.
