There were two crashes, one for Simone Corsi at T13 (Speed Up Racing), and the other for rookie and reigning Moto3™ World Champion Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) at Turn 16 - riders ok.
Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS riders Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez completed the top five, ahead of Mattia Pasini (Italtrans Racing Team), Axel Pons (RW Racing GP) and Danny Kent (Kiefer Racing).
Fastest rookie was Fabio Quartararo (Pons HP 40) in P9, with Luca Marini (Forward Racing) locking out the top ten.
