Aleix Espargaro: “Conditions were truly difficult”

Aprilia Racing Team Gresini rider crashes out of the San Marino GP

After a difficult morning Warm Up, Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) was feeling better in the early stages of the race – run in torrential conditions – after some changes to the bike paid off. Subsequently then suffering some issues with front grip and crashing out, the Spaniard says he’s disappointed – but that he’ll fight back at Aragon.

Aleix Espargaro, DNF: “The conditions were truly difficult. In Warm Up I did not feel good, but we made a few important changes to the RS-GP and in the early part of the race the feeling was decidedly better. Then I began to have problems with the front tyre before the crash. It's a shame because we have not been able to demonstrate our true potential for a few races now. I’m disappointed, but I’ve not lost my spirit or the desire to continue fighting.”

Gara molto difficile, la pista era molto delicata e alla fine caduta... Mi dispiace @aprilia_official ????
