Danilo Petrucci (Octo Pramac Racing) and Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) headed through from Q1 at the Red Bull Ring, split by less than a tenth. Jonas Folger (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) just missed out, ahead of Hector Barbera (Reale Avintia Racing) and Scott Redding (Octo Pramac Racing).
