Torres and MV Agusta Reparto Corse part ways

Spaniard is replacing the injured Rabat in Thailand as he and his WorldSBK team decide to end their contract in advance

MV Agusta Reparto Corse and Jordi Torres have mutually agreed to end their WorldSBK collaboration in advance as the Spaniard replaces injured Tito Rabat in the Reale Avintia Racing team for the PTT Thailand Grand Prix, with the three flyaways also planned for Torres.

The decision came after the extreme time differences in the MotoGP™ and WorldSBK race schedules were taken into consideration, which gives Torres the chance to fully focus on his premier class duties.

Rabat’s return from his Silverstone accident is yet to be confirmed so until then, it will be the number 81 riding alongside Xavier Simeon in the Reale Avintia garage.
