Hungarian rider Gabor Talmacsi may ride for Italjet next season

Gabor Talmacsi, the Hungarian 125cc rider, is likely to take part in the World Championship next season with an Italian Italjet machine. In fact, Talmacsi will without a doubt stay in his current team - the Racing Service, with whom he currently rides alongside Italian youngster William de Angelis. The Hungarian, who had a heavy fall in the first practice sessions yesterday has been a surprising performer this season. He is currently in 18th place in the overall classifications with 38 points, his best result of the season coming in the last race at Motegi.

At the same time as confirming Talmacsi´s presence in the Racing Service team next year, Gabriele Debbia the team owner announced that his team will probably have the responsibility of running the Italjet bikes next season. He also remarked that Stefano Perugini, one of the current Italjet riders, would become Talmacsi´s teammate.

The progress of the Italjet machine during its second season in the World 125cc Championship has been up and down. The blue bikes have taken a total of 32 points with Perugini and Scalvini. The former has 22 points from 2 eleventh places and 3 twelfths, whereas the latter has 15 points in total including his best of ninth in Motegi last week.
