Quotations from the main protagonists of the first 125cc qualifying practice

After the first day of qualifying for the Grand Prix of Japan, here´s what the main protagonists in the 125 class had to say.

Manuel Poggiali (1st): `Even though we are in first position we have to solve some problems with the setting of the bike. I feel more relaxed with respect to last year because I have more experience and I can give good instructions to my mechanics. The number 1 on my bike means nothing, now we all have zero points in the World Championship.

Dani Pedrosa (2nd): `Throughout the preseason testing the bike has improved in some way every time I have got on it and today was the same. If we keep working in this way then we will arrive where we want to be very soon. My time today is very pleasing but it is the first qualifying session of the season and there is a long way to go yet.

Youichi Ui (14th): `I was hoping for better times on this first day, but for sure I have not had a good feeling with the bike and this lack of confidence has prevented me from being higher up. We have been working on the setting and I think that tomorrow, if the weather holds up, I can be amongst the quickest.
