Honda to launch the CBR 600FR `Rossi´

Japanese manufacturer Honda have announced they are soon to launch a new Valentino Rossi replica bike. The new model, based on the the popular CBR600F Sport prototype, will be a limited edition machine, and will be called the CBR600 FR Rossi. It is scheduled to go on sale at the beginning of June.

The bike has been inspired by the charismatic 500cc World Champion, and current leader of the new MotoGP category. The top brass at Honda are well aware of the universal appeal of Rossi and the passion for motorcycling he has inspired in thousands of fans around the world, and did not want to pass up the opportunity to offer his most enthusiastic followers the chance to own a new model.

The differences from the ´01 model are only aesthetic in nature. The inclusion of Rossi´s characteristic number 46 on the side faring stands out, and the silver colour has been changed for a dark blue, while Repsol´s logo now also features on the bike. The model has been priced at 10.925 Eur, some 126 Eur more than the CBR600FS.
