Riders get a taste of Holland at local dairy

The customary pre-event promotions took place today ahead of the Gauloises Dutch TT, with several MotoGP riders making the most of their last day off before the action by visiting a local dairy nearby to the Assen circuit. Shinya Nakano, Loris Capirossi, John Hopkins, Jurgen vd Goorbergh and Toni Elias enjoyed the delights of the Kaasmakerij Karwij farm in Rolde, where they were shown how the cheese is made and even had the chance to taste the local delicacy.

`It is always good fun to sample the local culture when you are travelling so much,´ said Japanese rider Nakano. `We had the chance to join in the rind making process, which was very interesting, and I will share the cheese around my team-mates.´
