Mick Doohan backs Rossi to win despite injury

I am out in America at the moment so I haven´t been able to see much of the qualifying action, but having studied the results and speaking to some of the guys it seems Valentino Rossi bounced back today as if nothing had happened. I would put this down to confidence, because often it is that which is most affected in a crash. Some people may have expected to see Valentino taking it steady today after his big spill yesterday, but he is an irrepressible character and it will take more than that to faze him. He wants to be the best in every session and it will take a gambling man to bet against him tomorrow.

Tetsuya Harada was the surprise of the session today and it seems he is getting used to those Dunlop tyres. Dunlop go very well at Donington, as I´m sure many people will remember, and the performance of Harada and Hopkins, who is again on the second row, is a credit to them.
