Fröhlich wins seventh round of Dark Dog Challenge to MotoGP

Georg Fröhlich won the seventh round of the Dark Dog Challenge to MotoGP at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany. The pint-sized pilot, who measures just 155cm and weights no more than 37 kilos, beat Stefan Hesterberg by four seconds, with Oliver Skach a further two seconds behind in third place.

Skach finally took the podium by just one tenth of a second after an entertaining battle with Christian Janke and Matti Seidel, who finished one second behind Janke in third. Seidel maintains his lead in the series, however, with 128 points. Max Müller, who lies second in the championship, set the fastest lap of the race but was unable to finish and is now 22 points adrift of his rival. Skach is third on 99 points.
