Ueda set for return to action in Estoril

Noboru Ueda has now completed his recovery from injuries sustained at Mugello in June and has been given the green light to return to action next weekend at Estoril. Ueda, who has already returned to Europe from Japan, had planned to make it in time for Brno but, after consultation with his doctors, decided to postpone his comeback ride until he was fully fit.

´The doctors advised me that I shouldn´t return to the track too soon and they were right because I feel much better now,´ explained the veteran Japanese racer. `I can move around much more freely and my progress over the last two weeks has been very positive. I no longer feel any problems in my neck and I feel fit to get back on the bike.´

Turning his attention to the Grande Premio Marlboro de Portugal, the Semprucci Angaia Racing rider has a cautious outlook. ´Obviously when it is your first race back then you have to ride carefully at first and make sure you don´t fall again. The important thing is to recover my competitive rhythm without thinking too much about the result, but I am very excited about racing again´.
