World Champion Arnaud Vincent joins KTM

The new 125cc World Champion Arnaud Vincent has announced he will defend his title aboard the new 125cc KTM. In Valencia, where was held the last round of the World Championship, the austrian firm unveiled its plan to compete in the MotoGP Championship in 2005 and the 125cc Championship next year.

After riding for Aprilia and Honda privateer teams, the frenchman penned a two years contract with KTM. He will ride alongside Roberto Locatelli, 125cc World Champion in 2000.

´Leaving Aprilia may seem a bit surprising, as I won the title with them, but I believe it was the best choice I could have made´ explains Vincent. ´With KTM, I´m sure to have the full support from the factory during all the season. The bike will be ready in february. I won´t have much time to work before the start of the season, but I´m ready for this new challenge´.
