Biaggi unveils the Ludobus to help children with leukaemia

Max Biaggi continues in his quest to help children affected by the leukaemia virus and their families. Ever since he founded the `Andrea Tudisco´ charitable organisation following the young death of his cousin, the Italian rider has dedicated efforts towards helping those touched by the disease. This time he was accompanied by Formula One's Giancarlo Fisichella, as well as other celebrities, as he helped to unveil the Ludobus - a motorhome equipped to offer home assistance to children with leukaemia and their families. The aim is to proffer support, assistance and psychological help for those ill with the disease and their relatives.

Biaggi described the idea behind the initiative, `Working together is something very important in these situations. We are very proud of the Ludobus project, which is an offshoot of the association I am president of. I know that the motorhome is only the first phase of many things we want to achieve, and while it may not be a big project at the moment, the most important thing is that it is up and running. For the moment we have enough funds for the Ludobus to continue for a year, and I am completely committed to helping the project develop and grow.´
