Garry Taylor preparing Team Suzuki for next phase of testing

The team have had a good Christmas break, but our last test was in November and so we´ve had a lot of time to work on the things we found out then and during the season. This weekend we travel out to Malaysia to resume testing, and I´m looking forward to seeing both Kenny and John back on the bikes. John has impressed everyone since he came, and we are very happy to have him in the team. The bike will be a revised version of the V4 we had last year, but we are confident that it will move on a level after all the things we discovered last year.

Kevin Schwantz rode the bike and gave us some good info, and it was good to see him back on board the Suzuki GP machine. Saying that, he would even have embarrassed a few people in practice in Malaysia with some of the laps he put in! He hasn´t lost his touch at all, and he was physically just as fit and vital as during his career.

The only thing at the moment is that we have yet to confirm a sponsor to run on the bike for next season, so that is an issue we are working hard on although we are not too worried about it. We have also confirmed the rest of our testing schedule before the season begins, and apart from attending the IRTA tests in Jerez and Catalunya, we will travel to Phillip Island in early February, and back up the official tests in Spain with extra trips to Valencia and Catalunya during March.
