Roby Rolfo makes further RSW chassis improvements

Roberto Rolfo continued a rigorous winter programme of testing and development this week with two days of chassis work at the Jerez circuit. The Italian, who will be riding the evolution Honda RSW 250 in 2003 after development of the NSR was ceased by the Japanese factory last year, was positive about the performance of the machine at the Spanish venue and revealed that he is only too happy to put in the overtime as he looks to overcome a strong Aprilia challenge.

`We had great weather down at Jerez and I developed a much better sensation with the chassis,´ explained Rolfo. `There is no news on the engine, because we are not due to receive new parts until the IRTA test, but the important thing is I found a good position on the bike and we have solved the front end problems we had with the NSR. We are working very hard and I am constantly asking HRC for help, because I think Toni Elias and Manuel Poggiali with Aprilia will be very hard to beat this year. Next up is the Jerez IRTA test and it will be good to compare where we are with them.´
