Aprilia riders complete first of two day test at Valencia

Aprilia´s 250cc riders today joined their MotoGP counterparts on track at Valencia for the first of two days´ testing. Fonsi Nieto, Toni Elías, Manuel Poggiali, Randy De Puniet, Franco Battaini, Hugo Marchand, Erwan Nigon, Sylvain Guintoli, Héctor Faubel and Joan Olivé all shared track space with Colin Edwards and Noriyuki Haga, with Frenchman De Puniet the fastest of the quarter-litre riders.

Toni Elías and Fonsi Nieto spent the day working on their new 2003 version chassis, with Elías commenting: `We are working very hard and there is plenty of time left before the first race in Japan.
