Roberto Rolfo: fastest in the last day of testing in Valencia

Italian Roberto Rolfo (Honda) recorded the best lap time in the 250cc category after the second and last day of testing at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. The session was marred by fog that prevented the riders from leaving the garages for the first few hours of the morning. After about 12pm and with better visibility the teams cranked into life, even though the Argentinean Sebastián Porto, who gained the best time from the day before, only completed two laps before deciding that the track conditions were not really suitable. Overall, the Honda rider conserved first place through both sessions because Rolfo, even with the fastest lap of the second day, could not topple the former´s best effort.

In the pit box of Honda BQR the mechanics were experimenting with new different parts, recently received, for the two bikes of Eric Bataille and Álex Debón, but despite this new support they could not improved their time set from Wednesday. $$$ For her part, Katja Poensgen, shunned the battle for the best laps, she opted for gaining miles and experience with her Honda. Yesterday, with 70 circulations, she racked up the most time on the circuit. The German completed 142 laps overall.

Best unofficial times of 250cc tests both on Wednesday and Thursday:
