Gabor Talmacsi meets local fans in Kaposvar

Last Friday in the Hungarian town of Kaposvár, 125cc GP rider Gabor Talmácsi took part in an event to present himself and personal sponsor food supplier Kometa, so the public could see their MotoGP representation in the flesh.

Proceedings began at 11.00 a.m. at the Kométa factory with a press conference. Talmácsi then made a speech indicating that if it wasn´t for his sponsor he wouldn't have been able to participate in the 2003 Moto GP season and he will do his best in order to return the favour.

After that he went to the 12th Spring-Fair of Kaposvár and introduced himself to the public of Kaposvár, gaving autographs and meeting fans.

The 22 year old gained 14th place at the opening round of the season in Suzuka. Talmacsi made his debut in the World Championships in the 2001 season. This year he is the only representation from his country in Grand Prix racing. In 2002 he linked up with Imre Toth and this season rides with Peter Lenart in the junior class.
