Here you can find a photographic tribute to the Grand Prix career of one of MotoGP´s brightest stars, Daijiro Kato, who died two weeks ago from injuries sustained in the first round of the 2003 season in Japan. The gallery has images dating back to Kato´s first appearance on the world stage, as a wildcard at Suzuka in 1996, and features all the important stages of his unforgettable career – including his 250cc World Championship triumph in 2001.
