Manuel Poggiali (1st): `This is a really important win for the championship. It was so nice racing in front of my home fans and today my bike was perfect. Thanks to all my team and everyone who supports me´.

Fonsi Nieto (2nd): `I got a good start and went with Poggiali and DePuniet, but they were setting a really fast pace. Today Manuel´s bike was very fast and in just a few laps he began to open up a gap. I tried to cut it back but with the heat the tyre started to slip from underneath and I decided not to take any unnecessary risks and make sure of the podium´.

Franco Battaini (3rd): `It was a difficult race in these conditions but I was happy with the way I rode. I was kind of lucky that De Puniet crashed out twcie because I would have been fourth, but I am delighted to be on the podium in front of my friends and family´.
