Stefano Perugini, pole position:

"I like this track a lot and I was able to find my speed straightaway and a set-up on the bike that worked well. I think tomorrow will be a hard race like it is every year here in the 125s. It will be close until the last few corners."

Dani Pedrosa, 2nd position:

"The circuit is quite small and the difference between the riders is virtually non-existent. I think we will see maybe 8 or 9 riders in the top group. Last year I had a hard race with Poggiali and Vincent and took second; I hope for something similar if not better this weekend."

Andrea Dovizioso, 3rd position:

"I am really happy because the bike is working well. I tried to take pole but on my last lap I made a mistake and it was not possible. This season has been fantastic so far even though I have had some physical problems; I know I can do even better."

Simone Corsi, 4th position:

"I am learning the track very quickly and getting the bike set up well also and this has naturally helped me to set a good time. I hope I can stay at the front tomorrow and be able to fight in the last few laps which will be important."
