Chris Burns fit for Brno return as WCM await new four-strokes

Chris Burns returns to MotoGP action at Brno this weekend four weeks after breaking his collarbone in the Cinzano British Grand Prix at Donington Park. The British youngster will again ride the WCM 500cc Yamaha, although it could be his last appearance on the two-stroke with the team confident that their new four-stroke machines will be ready for the Grande Premio Marlboro de Portugal at the beginning of September.

"I've not raced a bike since the Donington crash and so the collarbone should be OK," said Burns. "I'm looking forward to racing at Brno on the two-stroke although our main priority is to be ready to race the four-stroke in Portugal at the next Grand Prix. It's been a tough year for us all but we are getting there and the second half of the season should be much more enjoyable than the first."
