Dani Pedrosa, winner:

"I am really happy because I have not been on the podium for three races and now I have my fourth win of the season. I was lucky today because both Cecchinello and Jenkner crashed out. I am pleased for myself, the team and for Honda."

Stefano Perugini, runner-up:

"It was a good race and I am happy with second because my last GP win and decent result feels like a long time ago. It was important for the Championship to get a strong finish today. I had a tyre problem in the last two laps, which meant I had to drop back from Pedrosa. My engine is fast but not perfect and I hope we will improve this for the next GP. The Championship is long and there are still many races to go."

Alex De Angelis. 3rd position:

"I didn't know what had happened to the bike. It suddenly cut out and then started going again. I was able to pick up my pace and I must apologise to the team because I did not celebrate coming over the line; I was so focussed on gaining ground that I wasn't aware I had actually taken third!"
