Andrew Pitt comments on a difficult debut season in MotoGP

Andrew Pitt experienced life as a racer at one end of the grid when he won the 2001 World Supersport Championship. Now the MotoGP rookie is learning the hard way about racing at the other extremity of the scale as part of the evolving Kawasaki effort.

"I suppose the bike hasn't been capable of running up the front but as far as I'm concerned there have been a lot of new racetracks and a new championship to negotiate. I've enjoyed it and enjoyed trying to improve the bike and working with it. I think we are improving but everyone else is improving too."
