Steve Jenkner, 3rd position:

"It was a really tough race today, especially so for me because of my starting position from the third row. I managed to get away well and then took my time to get some heat into the tyres and improve my laptimes. Third is a good result and the best I could have hoped for."

Masao Azuma, runner-up:

"I saw rain this morning and tested a new tyre and thought the race would be hard but there was a chance of a win. I tried to keep with Ballerini but he was just too fast today! Nevertheless this is a great result for the team and a podium finish is very nice! I hope this will not be the last time for me in the top three this season."

Andrea Ballerini, winner:

"This is a new and wonderful experience for me! Together with the team we have made some great work this weekend. I have to thank the squad and also Bridgestone for this result."
