MotoGP stars visit Moulin Rouge

MotoGP stars Loris Capirossi and Colin Edwards were shown the sights of Paris by local favourite and current 250cc World Championship leader Randy De Puniet on Wednesday night, as the trio prepare for the Grand Prix Polini de France at Le Mans this Sunday.

Capirossi, accompanied by his wife Ingrid, and Edwards, who was joined by his wife Alyssia and young daughter Gracie, joined De Puniet on a trip to the Moulin Rouge theatre, made famous by the film of the same name starring MotoGP fanatic Ewan McGregor.

The riders were treated to a dazzling show featuring traditional ‘Can-Can' dancers, clowns, acrobats and ventriloquists and were even invited backstage to meet the artists.

"It really was a fantastic show, completely different to what I expected," smiled Capirossi afterwards. "It's good to see the other riders and their families outside the racetrack and we really enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully myself, Colin and Randy can be the people putting on the good show on the racetrack".
