Relive the KTM clash at Le Mans

Whilst the eyes of the world were transfixed on another thrilling battle for victory between Andrea Dovizioso and Roberto Locatelli in the 125cc race at Le Mans, further down the field anequally entertaining tussle was taking place between KTM team-mates Casey Stoner and Mika Kallio.

Suffering from the effects of a shoulder injury sustained in qualifying which required a series of injections before the race, Stoner battled for the lead in the early stages before the painkillers wore off and he began to lose ground rapidly on his rivals.

Stoner was swallowed up by the field and looked as though he may struggle to stay in the points positions, until the sight of his Finnish team-mate coming past relit the Australian's intensely competitive fuse and he stepped up his pace once again.

It became clear that little love was lost between Stoner and Kallio as they pulled off a series of daring overtaking manoeuvres which had hearts in mouths back in the team's box and on pit wall, where Technical Director Haral Bartol could barely watch.

Kallio's extra strength eventually carried him to sixth place, whilst Pablo Nieto sandwiched his Aprilia between the pair on the penultimate lap to relegate Stoner to eighth.
