Elias fitter, happier for Donington

Having made his comeback at Laguna Seca after a two-month layoff due to injury, Toni Elias is getting ready for the British GP at Donington Park. The Fortuna Yamaha rider is optimistic before the British round, as he expects to be fitter after a tough weekend in California.

"I'm still recovering from my injury, but it's getting better and better. Now we have to see what happens at Donington, we are already looking into various solutions for the bike, and I'll be comfortable there, we already know the track and even if we can never say that it will be a trouble-free weekend, it's not as tricky as Laguna Seca," said Elias, who had broken his wrist in a crash at le Mans in May.

"Now the most important is to regain confidence with the bike after sitting out three races, to get the feeling that I had at le Mans before the crash. I'm sure I'll be back at my best soon, I have to get over this injury."
