Lorenzo out to regain lead

Jorge Lorenzo heads to China this week with the intention of regaining the lead in the 250cc classification, after a setback suffered in Turkey. Motogp.com offers you an exclusive interview with the Majorcan rider, in which he talks about his feelings heading into the fourth race of the season.

The impact of the crash in Turkey doesn't seem to have affected you too much. How will you face Sunday's race?

I'll start the race with a winning attitude, as always. My primary goal is never anything else other than to fight for victory. The accident in Turkey hasn't changed anything, and I'm ready to win.

Do you feel under pressure having lost your championship advantage?

Not at all. There are still a lot of races to go, and it's too early for predictions. The only guarantee is that I will face the Grands Prix optimistically and hope that incidents like in Turkey don't repeat themselves.

How does the Shanghai Circuit seem to you?

I like it more than Turkey. I think we can go fast out there, although anything can happen in a race. Everyone here will be doing their job, and I'll be doing mine.

In Qualifying sessions for Turkey we saw you riding in the wet. Do you feel confident ahead of China despite the risk of rain?

I hope that it doesn't rain, primarily because we can't get the best out of the bike in such conditions. Secondly, the fans want to see a spectacular race, which is more likely in the dry. In any case, we'll give 100% whatever the weather.
